New in Breeze: Add Cover Images to Projects

By Lucas on Feb 19

Sometimes, a picture says more than a long list of tasks. That’s why Breeze now lets you add cover images to your project cards! Whether you’re working on the Projects page or planning ahead in the Projects Roadmap, you can attach an image to make your cards stand out at a glance.

This new feature makes it easier to recognize tasks, add visual context, or just keep things a little more organized. Need to highlight a design mockup, a key reference image, or a product photo? Just add it as a cover image—it’ll show up right on the card.

Here’s how it works and how you can start using it today.

1. How to add a cover image on the projects page

Adding a cover image to a project card in Breeze is simple. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Open the projects page
Go to the Projects page and find the project where you want to add a cover image.
  2. Select the project
Find the project card you want to update and click on the three dot icon to open the settings.

  5. See it in action
Once added, the cover image will be visible on the project card in the Projects page view, making it easier to identify at a glance.
  6. Project cover images

That’s it! Now your project cards can be more visual and easier to scan.

2. How to add a cover image on the projects roadmap page

Adding a cover image to a project card on the projects roadmap page is just as easy.

  1. Go to the projects roadmap
Navigate to the Projects Roadmap page in Breeze.
  2. Select the project card
Find the project card where you want to add a cover image and click on it to open the details.
  3. Click on "Cover image"
In the project details, click on the "Cover image" button on side menu.
  4. Add project roadmap cover image
  5. Upload your image
Choose an image from your computer or drag and drop a file into the upload area.
  6. View your cover image
Once uploaded, the image will appear as a cover on the project card in the roadmap view.
  7. Project roadmap cover images

And that’s it! Your roadmap cards can now have visual cues to make planning and tracking even easier.

Cover images in Breeze make project cards more visual, helping you spot important tasks, add context, and keep things organized at a glance. Whether you’re managing projects on the projects page or mapping out plans in the projects roadmap, this simple addition can make a big difference in how you work.

Give it a try and see how it fits into your workflow! As always, we’d love to hear your feedback—let us know what you think or if there’s anything we can improve. Happy organizing!
