New in Breeze: Reply to Comments and Messages

By Lucas on Mar 3

Sometimes, a conversation needs a little more structure. That's why Breeze now lets you reply directly to comments and messages! Just like in email, when you hit the reply button, it automatically quotes the original text so you can keep discussions clear and focused.

This works across comments, project messages, and team messages, making it easier to respond to specific points without things getting messy. No more scrolling back to figure out what someone was referring to—just reply, quote, and keep the conversation moving.

Here's how it works and how you can start using it today.

1. How to reply to comments

Replying to comments in Breeze is simple and works just like an email reply. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Find the comment you want to reply to
Go to a task or discussion where someone has left a comment.
  2. Click the "Reply" button
Hover over the comment and click the "Reply" button. This will insert the original comment as a quoted text in your reply.
  3. Reply to comment
  4. Type your response
Write your message below the quoted text. You can keep or edit the quote as needed.
  5. Quoted reply to comment
  6. Post your reply
Click "Post" to send your reply. Your response will include original comment, making it easy for others to follow the conversation.

That's it! Now your discussions stay clear, organized, and easy to follow.

2. How to reply to messages

Replying to project and team messages in Breeze works the same way as replying to comments. Here's how you can do it:

  1. Find the message you want to reply to
Go to the Project Messages or Team Messages section and locate the message you want to respond to.
  2. Click the "Reply" button
Hover over the message and click the "Reply" button. This will insert the original message as a quoted text in your reply.
  3. Reply to message
  4. Write your response
Type your message below the quoted text. You can modify or remove the quote if needed.
  5. Quoted reply to message
  6. Send your reply
Click "Post" to submit your reply. The response will include the original message, making conversations easier to follow.

With this new feature, team communication becomes clearer and more structured, helping everyone stay on the same page.

The new reply feature in Breeze makes conversations more structured and easier to follow. Whether you're responding to a comment, a project message, or a team message, you can now quote text directly—just like in email. No more confusion or lost context!

Give it a try and see how it helps keep your discussions organized. As always, we'd love to hear your feedback. Let us know what you think and how we can keep improving Breeze for you.
